In Napoli, superior Serie A leaders SSC Napoli have to come back from a 1-0 deficit against AC Milan.
In the first game last Wednesday, Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio shot Real Madrid to victory. Alaba played through, but the 30-year-old from Vienna was rested in the 2-0 away win in the league in Cadiz on Saturday.
Hardly anyone believes that it could be as close as last year, when Real defeated Chelsea in extra time. “We’re in very good shape and you can see that on the pitch,” said Ancelotti. In the current season in the premier class, the record champion has seven wins and a draw with only one defeat (2:3 in Leipzig) in nine games.
