In the peace community, the team is the star. Head coach Andreas Milot and goalkeeper coach Florian Steiner recently signed for another year with the USV kickers. Squad planning is also almost complete, as the team will remain together as it is. At this early stage, sporting director Josef Schmidbauer and head coach Andi Milot were able to sign the entire squad until at least summer 2024.
In the top third of the table
Coach Milot took over the fighting team twelve months ago. Since the Ulricher were much closer to the bottom of the table than the top. After a series of successes, the Milot-Elf is currently fourth in the national league. The coach’s handwriting can be seen in the game of the UPS. It is also gratifying that in the past twelve months many young self-made players have been given time to play in the first team and have been able to prove themselves.
Youth work is a top priority at USV St. Ulrich, and in this respect the club is a role model in the entire region.
The sports management of the USV St. Ulrich is also very active and challenged due to the new situation that the club will provide a second team in the 2nd class from autumn. It is planned that this competition will be contested with the very young tribe of the reserve team. The USV St. Ulrich Juniors are almost exclusively players born in 2006/07. Week after week, the squad proves its talent in the reserve competition of the Landesliga Ost, in which it currently occupies a good third place. The juniors serve as a presentation platform for the talented young players and as a springboard for the national league team. From the summer there will be a potential trainer who will take particular care of the right support, development and integration into the fighting team of the young Ulrich talents. The goal is to establish yourself in the league in the first year. After that, the aim is to move up to the 1st class.
