Fuel and heating oil prices have fallen sharply and pushed inflation down to 9.2 percent, Statistics Austria announced on Wednesday. Inflation was 10.9 percent in February and 11.2 percent in January. “In March 2023, food prices rose less than in February, while price increases in the catering trade remained almost unchanged,” says Statistics Austria Director General Tobias Thomas.
