Electrical industry: Actual and KV wages increase by 9.9 percent

For the approximately 60,000 employees, the actual and KV wages and salaries will increase gross by 9.9 percent, but by at least 325 euros a month. Apprentices receive an increase of 10.5 percent, the employers said. “After long and fair negotiations with the employee representatives, we were able to negotiate a compromise for everyone involved,” comments the chairman of the association, Wolfgang Hesoun, on today’s agreement between the social partners.

Second round in the paper industry

Tomorrow, Thursday, the second round of collective agreements will start in the paper industry. Here wages and salaries are haggled for 8,000 employees. The chemical industry with its 45,000 employees will start the second round of KV on April 24th. As in the paper industry, there is still no percentage requirement on the table.

In the weeks before there were degrees for Expedit, driving schools, gardening and printers, the agreement of the social partners was between 8.6 and 10 percent wage and salary increase. It was bumpy at the AUA, where there was then an agreement on a plus for the flying personnel of 11 percent.

Hot off the press is the agreement on a new collective agreement for the approximately 25,000 workers in the forwarding and warehousing industry. The wage increases combined with the reduction in working hours would result in an average increase in hourly wages of 11.33 percent, the vida union said on Wednesday.
