His job was to transport people with disabilities. Today, the Bad Ischl Samaritan Association has two branch offices in Traun and Wels, 148 vehicles and 270 employees and also drives for Meals on Wheels.
The organization also built and operates two facilities for people with disabilities in Ebensee and Bad Ischl. And with the opening of an assisted living facility on Ischler Grazer Strasse, the first form of housing for senior citizens has now been included in the field of activity of the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Bad Ischl. The ground-breaking ceremony was recently celebrated with prominent guests – at the same time as the 50th anniversary.
