The idea of ​​the Long Night of Libraries was born last year. The goal at the time was for 50 libraries to take part in the campaign. There are now more than 90. The successful premiere continues today, Friday: more than 100 libraries across the country extend the reading time. There are also numerous libraries from the region.

District of Eferding:

  • At 7:30 p.m., Roland Schwarz will read from his new novel “On the container ship with Moby Dick: How books change our lives” in the Eferding public library.
  • The night of games and films begins at 7 p.m. at the book and games meeting point in the parish of Eferding, and the Eberhof film night starts at 10 p.m. with semolina dumplings and Kaiserschmarrn (Kirchenplatz 2).
  • A games evening begins at 5 p.m. in the Prambachkirchner library under the motto “We don’t have game overs”.

  • In the library in Haag am Hausruck you can browse and experiment from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., and you can win e-books.
  • “With fairy tales into dreamland” is the motto in the St. Agatha community library (6 p.m. to 9 p.m.).
  • The program begins at 4 p.m. in the library in Wallern. Children can look forward to a Kamishibai performance. A police officer and a Jiu-Jitsu instructor read to children. In the evenings, personalities from Wallern present. There is also a culinary offer.
