A “Bohemian Spring” attracts music lovers from May 5th to 7th to the Leitner Gut in Ort im Innkreis. A weekend dedicated to traditional brass band music has been announced, with 15 acts from Franz Posch and his Innbrügglers to Brassaranka and Vlado Kumpan. There will also be a regulars’ table for musicians and the finale of the Woodstock band competition “Copa Kapella” to enjoy.
It starts at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 5th, with the Tegernseer Tanzlmusi, Allgäu6, brass band Ceska and Brassaranka. Music will be played the next day from 1 p.m., four bands will play at the Copa Kapella competition: Public voting will decide which two of the four bands will win a performance at the Woodstock of Brass Music 2023. Also present are d’Junge Wenger Tanzlmusi – JWT, Greim Brass, Schlapfn 7 and Viehweid’6. The competition is followed by a musicians’ get-together, at which every guest is asked to bring their own instrument and be there. The tradition of “Bradln” is celebrated here – as is customary in the Innviertel, according to the organizers. At 6:30 p.m., the formation Dogehta-Blech will play, followed by Vlado Kumpan and his musicians, the Innsbrucker Böhmische and PS:reloaded. Brass band Sunday begins at 9.30 a.m. with a musical service followed by a morning pint for all those who are interested. You can hear Blech&White as well as Franz Posch and his Innbrüggler.
