18 companies from the districts of Gmunden and Vöcklabruck presented themselves at a job exchange in the Vöcklabruck labor market service, which was organized by the two AMS district offices especially for refugees from the region.
Around 80 Ukrainians took the opportunity to get in touch with companies such as Post AG, dm Drogeriemarkt, Asamer Kies und Beton, Rosenberger Telematics GmbH or Österreichische Gesundheitsholding GmbH in an uncomplicated way to talk about possible employment in an informal atmosphere.
The personnel managers were also satisfied and noted many visitors. Occasionally, there was also an immediate start of work.
“We see this event as an opportunity for displaced people to gain a foothold here,” says Leopold Tremmel, branch manager of the AMS Gmunden. “We will continue this format and continue to offer language courses for Ukrainian refugees.”
