The document establishes that the Municipality of Montevideo “is forced to reject the project of Katoen Natie as it is presented” for “not having the necessary reports and studies”. requirement that was asked of the Belgian company.


In this same sense, it establishes that the IM presented “objections and questions about the impacts on the urban and coastal environment, in environmental aspects and in the mobility of a central area of the city”, after a detailed study by a multidisciplinary team of technicians from the mayor’s office where legal and territorial ordering, the actions of public institutions and the about coastal areas, sustainable development, the care of the environment and the historical-cultural heritage.
