At around 10:45 p.m., the 41-year-old rode his e-bike in Ebensee on Solvaystrasse out of town. Because of a runner next to him, he braked his bike so hard with the front brake that he fell over the handlebars onto the road. The 41-year-old, who was not wearing a crash helmet, hit his head on the asphalt and was seriously injured. He had to be admitted to the Salzkammergut Klinikum Bad Ischl after the emergency medical first aid.
