Riverón maintained that “the conflict could not be overcome” by the parties, and this has caused it to come to “a stage that they would never have wanted“, where” sanctions appear to colleagues for having taken a union measure.

For the union leader, “the resolution to have occupied the plant” gives the company arguments to “say that they are protected to punish their colleagues.” According to Riverón, the current one is a scenario of “A lot of tension” that they will seek to resolve in the coming weeks.

The president of the Fuecys commented that “from our side, at least three proposals have been made trying to resolve the conflict“but on the business side,”what we received was a sanction to the compañeros for taking a legitimate measure such as the right to occupy“.

However, although he once again insisted that the atmosphere is “very tense”, he explained that “they are optimistic that it is possible to find the path to a solution”, therefore, “they will continue to bet their energies and hours” on that.

The government had presented a road map to unlock the supergas conflict in April

Last April, Riverón had communicated that the Executive power presented a road map to advance with the negotiations with the supergas workers.

According to the leader, the roadmap was more similar to the request of the workers themselves, since it allowed a particular evaluation of the conditions of each one of the 26 employees that they were fired at the Riogas company, where they remarked that the layoffs would continue.
