A pair of storks has been using the ÖBB radio mast as a nesting site since 2021. In order to preserve the habitat of the protected animals, the ÖBB infrastructure built a platform on this mast outside of the breeding season. It serves as a base for the nest and protects the environment from contamination.
Anyone who wants to follow the rearing can do so with the first ÖBB stork camera. Current images are shown here at regular intervals; live images are not possible for operational security reasons.
