Work on the “Generationenhaus Kleeblatt” in Lengau is progressing. This building accommodates “vital living”, “young living”, a kindergarten, day care for people with dementia and a meeting place for the elderly.
The apartments have already been painted, tiled and the floors laid. According to Lengau’s Mayor Erich Rippl, nothing stands in the way of a ceremonial handover of the apartments and the opening of day care and the senior citizens’ club on June 30th. At the moment there are still apartments in “Vital Living” (care level 1 to 3) available, interested parties should contact the Lengau municipal office on Tel.: 07746/2202-72.

From the summer, day care for seniors will be aimed at people with care and nursing needs who generally live in their own homes. In day care, eight to twelve visitors “with and without dementia” can currently spend the day twice a week and they are accompanied by experienced professionals who have sound training and a lot of experience in dealing with older people, according to the Franciscan sisters Operator.
The premises are designed to be barrier-free and offer sufficient space for joint activities and opportunities to retreat. The focus is on social support and care. “I am particularly pleased that the new project is focusing on life-world-oriented support. This enables self-determination, normality and an individual way of life,” says Deborah Neumüller, head of the senior citizens’ work and quality assurance competence area of the Franciscan Sisters of Vöcklabruck’s old people’s and nursing homes. Agreed care activities are also offered in order to relieve the burden on caring relatives. A meeting place for seniors completes the offer of the multi-generational house Kleeblatt: the seniors organize and manage their activities themselves – with the support of voluntary employees and visitors. Volunteer work is an essential element of the senior citizens’ club. “With the opening of the day care and the meeting place for seniors, we are expanding our offer,” says Johann Stroblmair, managing director of the Franciscan nursing homes.
