The Political Table of Open Town Hall (CA) will meet this afternoon to decide if it continues to be part of the ruling coalition or if it breaks with it after the president Luis Lacalle Pou demand the resignation of Irene Moreirauntil Friday Minister of Housing and Territorial Planning and who is the wife of the cabildante leader, Guido Manini Rios.
The Cabildo Abierto will communicate its decision at the end of the day, around 7:00 p.m., giving the government the possibility that, during the day, it made some gesture to stop its departure, which would leave the Executive in a fragile position in the Parliament. He would have a slim majority if CA continued to support his projects. Opposite casewould be in the minority.

How did an imminent break between the Cabildo Abierto and the government come about?
