At the general meeting of the Attersee-Attergau regional development association (regatta), managing director Leo Gander presented the balance sheet for the 2014-22 funding period. 93 funding projects were implemented in the 14 member communities. There were 2.7 million euros of Leader funds as support for this. “This triggered an investment volume of 5.1 million euros,” says Gander. A large part of the money was invested in the region, which secures at least 50 jobs. “Three quarters of the projects were implemented by associations in all 14 communities, which makes us particularly happy,” summarizes the proud chairwoman and mayor Nicole Eder.
Leo Gander and the new project manager Cornelia Seifried presented the new Leader support program. The title of the future local development strategy is: “Reach for the stars from the depths of the lake”. The first funding meeting is planned for the end of September.
