Minister Klaudia Tanner (VP) and the Upper Austrian state fire service commander and Federal Fire Service Association President Robert Mayer signed a corresponding declaration of intent in Vienna, which is intended to go beyond the previous cooperation.
“In view of climate change, cooperation is the order of the day,” stressed Mayer. One of the ten points of the declaration of intent is, for example, that firefighters should be given priority to work with the pioneers during their basic military service.
