Two injured in head-on collision in Amstetten

On the night of Sunday shortly before 2 a.m., the Greinsfurth and Amstetten fire brigades were alerted to a serious traffic accident in Mauer near Amstetten. Two vehicles collided head-on for reasons that are still unknown.

When the fire departments arrived, the two injured vehicle drivers were already being treated by the rescue service, says fire brigade operations manager Michael Heinz: “We then secured the accident site and the vehicles, arranged for the vehicles to be removed and cleaned the road.”
