In the 3-0 win against Go Ahead Eagles Deventer, the Upper Austrian was rested because of knee problems. After the final whistle, however, like all the squad players, he was on the field in full football kit to celebrate with the team, first behind the goal at the fan block and then the championship plate from Feyenoord legends Robin van Persie and Giovanni van Bronckhorst to accept. The jubilation was also huge when Trauner was called to receive his champion’s medal.
