Faced with this, the housing minister responded to the press that “If there are seven homes that were not delivered and she is on the list, she will receive her home.” The departments that were not delivered today are seven and, according to Lozano, it was for “different reasons”, and the woman had claimed that she had been ranked seven. “These are situations that nobody wants, but if there are seven homes that were not delivered and she is on the list, she will receive the home,” said the official.
Regarding the department awarded to the Cabildo Abierto militant, the minister explained that the Legal Division of the Ministry of Housing is studying what to do. “Out of respect for the lady, we should wait a little to see how it is resolved. I will wait for the legal reports. I personally have not spoken to her,” Lozano concluded.
The Ministry wants to investigate
He Ministry of Housing and Territorial Planning (MVOT) is contemplating starting an administrative investigation into the direct awards (without lottery) carried out by the former lobbyist minister Irene Moreira during his tenure.
The measure of the government portfolio, now led by the also member of Town meeting (AC), Raul Lozanoseeks to determine how these director granting processes that formerly carried out by former minister Moreira were executed.
