The Münzbach Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Georg Prinz, will perform as part of the concert trio on the Pentecost weekend. At three classical concerts in Münzbach, Perg and Waldhausen, the musicians spread a festive atmosphere. In addition to the concert for clarinet and orchestra by Carl Maria von Weber with the young Bad Kreuzner soloist Katrin Käferböck, the orchestra continues its Beethoven focus with his overture to Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s tragedy “Egmont” and Symphony No. 8 in F major . Beethoven’s eighth symphony is characterized by a special cheerfulness and joie de vivre.
The musician Katrin Käferböck from Bad Kreuzen appears as the soloist on the clarinet. She has already performed numerous concert projects with the Münzbach Chamber Orchestra. She is currently majoring in clarinet and studying instrumental pedagogy at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz with Manfred Unterhuber. With the Clarinet Concerto by Carl Maria von Weber she can be heard for the first time as a soloist with the Munzbach Chamber Orchestra.
This classic program worth listening to will be played tomorrow, Saturday, in the parish church in Münzbach (7 p.m.), on Whitsunday at 5 p.m. in the parish church of Perg and on Monday at 5 p.m. in the collegiate church in Waldhausen.
Advance tickets are available from Ö-Ticket, in all Raiffeisen banks and from the members of the orchestra.
