26 kilometers backlog: long wait in Pentecost travel

In Salzburg there was a backlog of up to 26 kilometers on the Tauern autobahn (A10) in front of the Ofenau tunnel. The club also registered traffic jams on the Brenner autobahn (A13) towards Italy between Innsbruck and Matrei. Traffic was backed up for eight kilometers in front of the Karawanken Tunnel on Saturday. There was a wait of 45 minutes.

Since Friday, 10 p.m., there have been block handling and convoy traffic on the A10 towards Villach in front of the Ofenauer and Reit tunnels and in front of the St. Michael toll station. The ÖAMTC also reported on numerous operations and minor breakdowns on the route between Flachau and Flachauwinkl after a rear-end collision.

In Tyrol the Fernpass route (B179) from Füssen to Heiterwang was also affected by traffic jams.
