For the third time, the KiK Open Air brings musical diversity to Ried on three stages. The idea of an urban festival in the middle of Ried, which had matured over many months, began in 2020 during – and probably also because of – the corona pandemic. The main stage is located in the countryside directly in the city center (entrance Mühlbachgasse) at the parking lot of the Tonninger company. A varied program with Austrian and international musicians is offered there over four days.
The concerts for all night owls and party animals on Wednesday 7th and Friday 10th June will be rounded off with the after-show parties at KiK. The “PoP-uP stage” will be in action for a total of nine days this year. A program will be offered here from Friday, June 2nd. With this, the organizers not only want to draw attention to the KiK and the Open Air, but also to use public spaces in the city center and show their quality and potential. There are a total of 38 program items this year – in the middle of Ried – over nine days. The KiK Open Air 2023 should also make a contribution to revitalizing the city center. You can see Mono & Nikitaman, Jimmy and the Goofballs, Monobrother (all on June 7th), 5/8erl in Ehr’n (June 8th), Kontrust, Mono Dual at this year’s edition on the main stage 721, Bastards Mustard (June 9), Voodoo Jürgens, Culk, Werckmeister (June 10). There is also a children’s program on Saturday, June 10 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The Tabor Theater is performing Pippi Longstocking – with free admission.
Ticket Info: With the festival pass, visitors have access to all events in the course of KiK Open Air 2023. The day tickets are valid for the events on the Main Stage on the respective days. The after show party takes place on Wednesdays and Fridays after the concerts in the KiK basement.
Tickets for the open-air event are available online in the KiK ticket shop, in the KiK Office during opening hours, at the “KiK Open Air PoP-uP” events and at the box office.
