A 64-year-old from the district of Waidhofen an der Thaya drove on Sunday at 12:25 p.m. with his motorcycle in the municipality of Tragwein coming from Pregarten on the Aisttalstraße in the direction of Reichenstein.
In a sharp right-hand bend, he got on the left side of the road and crashed head-on into an oncoming car that was being driven by a 23-year-old from the Freistadt district. The 64-year-old was thrown over the embankment with his motorcycle and was seriously injured with the Tragwein rescue and taken to the LKH Freistadt.
