Ascendor is now producing at the new location in Neufelden

Ascendor Lifttechnik has relocated its production site from Niederwaldkirchen to Neufelden as planned. The constant growth of the manufacturer of cabin lifts, platform lifts, lifting platforms and stair lifts made it absolutely necessary to expand the production area. The production area was increased by 42 percent to a total of 8000 m².

In 2022, the company achieved a new record turnover of over 13 million euros. The lift production at the old location in Drautendorf had been running out of space for some time. “In the past few years, we have had a very pleasing level of incoming orders and outstanding sales growth. In order to continue to meet the requirements in the future, we decided to expand the production area,” says the operative managing director Erwin Roither.

Castling with Biohort

After the sister company Biohort experienced an increase in production area of ​​50,000 m² with the new plant in St. Martin, the previous production of tool sheds, boxes and plant beds moved from plant 1 in Neufelden to the newly built plant 3 in St. Martin. In the vacated halls in Neufelden, upgradeable Ascendor lift systems are manufactured on a production area that has been increased by more than 42 percent. In addition to Ascendor, the office building of the parent company Priglinger Holding is located on the entire 27,500 m² site in Neufelden.

Modern workplaces

The managing directors attached great importance to the ergonomic design of the new workplaces. Ascendor made investments of around 800,000 euros for the new location, which went into new machines, modern extraction and filter systems, LED lighting and modern building facilities. In addition, you have more space, which also allows for future growth and efficient work. A lot of time was also put into the development of work processes, since in contrast to production at the old location, the main production takes place on one level.
