According to the forecast by the experts at Geosphere Austria, it will be a bit cooler, especially in the north and east of the country.
On Friday However, the high pressure influence will again ensure predominantly sunny weather, in the south and in the mountains there will also be some cumulus clouds during the day and local, partly thundery showers must be expected in places. The wind continues to blow mostly weakly from northerly directions, only north of the Danube and in the eastern lowlands it can freshen up moderately. The morning temperatures reach eight to 14 degrees, the daily maximum temperatures 22 to 28 degrees.
The influence of high pressure decreases on Saturday something off. In the mountains, the tendency to heavy showers and thunderstorms is therefore increasing, especially in the west and south. In the north and east, on the other hand, extremely sunny weather will again prevail. The wind will be weak to moderate, in the western Danube region also brisk from the east. Early temperatures are eight to 14 degrees, the maximum daily temperatures are 19 to 25 degrees, with it being a bit cooler than last, especially in the north and east.
On Sunday it is dry in Upper Austria and northern Lower Austria and also sunny for longer. Otherwise there will be more clouds and occasional rain showers during the day, sometimes even thunderstorms. The sun will only appear occasionally, only in the east will it be increasingly sunny again from midday. The wind will be weak to moderate from northeast to southeast. The early temperatures range from eight to 15 degrees, the maximum daily temperatures from 18 to 24 degrees.
On Monday unstable air masses determine the weather. In addition to sunny phases in the morning, cumulus clouds are increasingly forming during the day and as a result also some rain showers, which can be very heavy locally, especially in the afternoon and evening. Lightning and thunder are also to be planned for, especially in the mountains. The wind will blow weak to moderate from predominantly north-east to south-east. The morning temperatures reach ten to 15 degrees, the daily maximum temperatures 20 to 25 degrees.
The unsettled weather is also settling on Tuesday away. Clouds predominate in the east in particular, and there are frequent downpours throughout the day, which can be locally heavy. Otherwise, high cumulus clouds often form during the day, leading to rain showers or thunderstorms. Apart from the showers and thunderstorms, the wind will be weak. The morning temperatures are 10 to 16 degrees, the maximum daily temperatures are 17 to 25 degrees, with the higher values in the west.
