The municipality of Ansfelden is approaching a festival weekend. The reason to celebrate? The city survey 35 years ago.
In 1987, a majority of Ansfeld residents voted in favor of Ansfelden being elevated to the status of a town. In the same year, the then municipal council submitted the corresponding application to the country – on September 28th the time had come. Ansfelden was officially a city.
Incidentally, the handing over of the city eligibility certificate and the celebrations did not take place until a year later in front of the city office in Haid.
The 35th anniversary is also being celebrated there. From tomorrow, Friday to Sunday, there will be a colorful program for young and old. With free admission, visitors can enjoy concerts, demonstrations by the emergency services, morning shopping or a carousel ride. A special highlight: Hoamspü will be in action tomorrow from 7 p.m.
New logo is presented
Mayor Christian Partoll (FP) is already looking forward to it, he is hoping for good weather and many guests – and is confident that there will be both. He is also looking forward to the feedback on the newly designed city logo, which will be presented tomorrow evening. “It will be colorful and very striking”, so much can be revealed in advance.
