With an unchallenged 4-0 away win at DSG UKJ Froschberg, the fistball women from Union Schwingenschuh Nußbach successfully reported back from the Pentecost break in the Bundesliga. The Kremstal women around captain Marlene Hieslmair only showed weaknesses for a short time in the third set, but still turned a 2:9 deficit into an 11:9 win. “The girls ironed out the little snag really well,” says coach Marco Salzberger, “so we’re still level on points in the table with leader Urfahr in second place.”

On Sunday from 11 a.m. Nußbach could secure a place in the final 3 with a home win against bottom-placed Reichenthal with one lap to go.
