After the resignation of former mayor Regina Rieder, Thomas Strasser (47) was elected the new local party leader without a dissenting vote. Strasser named the expansion of the kindergarten, the development of a new sports and play area and the optimization of traffic routes as the central projects in the municipal council.
Hubert Mayr-Zaininger was also dismissed as chairman of the senior citizens’ association. Margarete and Johann Schachinger took over his duties. LH deputy Christine Haberlander and district party chairman Klaus Lindinger congratulated.
