The Maldonado mayor explained that now comes the final reconstruction stage with the aim of “stabilizing it forever.” On the other hand, he added that it is a very important work for the department and that it should be done “at full speed.” The costs of repairs to the bridge inaugurated in 2000, They were entirely in charge of the administration.

Accompanied by the beginning of the final work, Antía communicated the machinery delivery for a value of 124,465 dollars, which complete an investment in this sector – during the two terms of the mayor’s government – amounting to 20 million dollars.
