One of the means most used by Uruguayans to travel to the neighboring country is by boat and the final of the U-20 World Cup was not going to be the exception for the choice of this transport. However, due to weather reasons, as the company explained to its passengers, the ship that had to leave the port of cologne this Saturday at 8:30 p.m. it took twelve hours to start at the destination.


Passengers began to denounce through social networks that they were inside the ship against their will and that the company did not go out to give the pertinent explanations nor did it take charge of providing food and drinks to the people who had been waiting for a considerable time.

Faced with this, and with the appearance of Prefecture inside the ship, the passengers chose to file an official complaint with the authorities explaining that the captain of the ship at no time explained the existing situation on the ship and that it was only at 5 in the morning that he informed that they could set sail two hours later.
“For weather reasons, supposedly, the ship did not go out. I want to report on behalf of the passengers that being 4:45 the captain of the ship never informed us of the existing situation on the ship and only at that time he informs us that we cannot get off it and that we will only leave at 7:00 in the morning, keeping us on the ship against our will,” the complaint explains.
