Now the solar power plant has been expanded and the entrance to the summer toboggan run has been covered with photovoltaic panels. With a maximum total output of 70 kilowatts, the capacity has more than doubled.
The OÖ Seilbahnholding regards the Grünbergseilbahn as a role model for its other locations. “Step by step, we will use unused space to invest in photovoltaics and follow this path at all our locations in Upper Austria,” explains Rupert Schiefer, Managing Director of OÖ Seilbahnholding.
