The office and the festival were opened by Mayor Markus Vogl and Deputy Mayor Michael Schodermayr, who also acted in his capacity as Chairman of the Volkshilfe Oberösterreich. In their speeches, both pointed to the necessity of the project “Living in dialogue” in Steyr.
The employees of “Living in dialogue” strive to improve the coexistence of people and to increase the quality of life. Community gardens are laid out with residents and partners, cooking evenings and settlement festivals are organized.
