Blumauerstraße 3-5 is the new address of the Linz security service from October. With yesterday’s resolution in the Supervisory Board, a long-term search has come to an end. Until now, the headquarters of the security service was located in the so-called market building on the Urfahranermarkt site. But the premises were too small for the increasing number of employees and no longer up to date, and the long journeys to the south of Linz are also a reason for the move.
Closer to common job sites
Mayor Klaus Luger (SP) welcomes the move to move the security service geographically closer to the center, as does Security City Councilor Michael Raml (FP). “With the new base in the center, the security service is even closer to the most common locations,” says Raml.
