The two-year-old boy was probably left unsupervised for a minute or two in the evening. The toddler used this time to climb over the side wall of the in-house above-ground pool.
When the father (44) noticed that his son was no longer with him, he immediately started looking for him. He found him floating motionless in the water on his side. The 44-year-old immediately jumped into the pool and got his child out.
The man brought the two-year-old into the living room and immediately began resuscitation with his wife. After a short time the child showed signs of life again and began to cry. It was admitted to the Steyr Clinic.
