For 15 years, amateur winemakers from Friedburg have been producing an average of 250 liters of Schlossberg wine a year. The idea of creating a vineyard on the stables of the former “Fryburg” came up in 2007 as part of the village renewal. Adolf Falb is one of 14 hobby winegrowers who, together with Franz Denk, the then head of the village renewal association, tackled the “Weingarten” project. The wine christening recently took place in this anniversary year: In the idyllic vineyard on the Schlossberg above Friedburg, Pastor Marek Michalowski blessed the 2022 vintage and christened it “Filia Solis”. The former director of the primary school in Friedburg, Irene Falb, was appointed wine godmother for the 22 year olds.
