Within the framework of the water crisis that crosses the metropolitan area of ​​Uruguay, the reserves of the dam Severine Pass fell again with respect to the previous measurement and are in the 4.4% of normal flow, according to the follow-up report of the Executive power.

According to the study carried out by the Executive and reported through the Presidential Communication, the reserve of the Paso Severino dam was in 2,887,394 cubic meters, when the normal flow is 65 million cubic meters, which is equivalent to saying that only 4.4% remains.

On the other hand, it was reported that during the last 24 hours 540,825 cubic meters of water per day in Montevideo and the metropolitan area. Regarding the supply values, the report specified that in pumping lines 4 and 6 Chloride and sodium values ​​were recorded, in the daily average, higher than to the maximum allowed of 720 mg/h and 420 mg/h, while in line 5 the values ​​were lower.

Ursea detected several breaches in the supply of OSE

On the other hand, during the last week ursea published in its weekly survey that it detected different breaches in the supply of OSE. There, he stated that he observed elevated values ​​of chloride, sodium, STD and conductivity, as well as trihalomethanes, although he said that later “they were corrected.”

At the same time, Ursea recorded “nonconforming values” of iron in some points of the OSE network and “specific breaches in the parameter turbidity”, They will continue to be monitored. Finally, he detected a microbiological non-compliance, with the presence of total coliforms (bacteria), due to which a new sample was going to be taken to verify the correctness of the situation.
