Special Olympics World Games: Already eleven medals for Austria

His colleague Jakob Kreindl took fourth place in the same competition. On Wednesday, the two athletes from Lebenshilfe Oberösterreich, together with two colleagues from Vorarlberg, won the first bronze medal for Austria in the boccia team competition. In doubles, Erik Schirmer and Jakob Kreindl still have a chance of winning a medal.

The athletes have also been able to collect nine medals in powerlifting and horseback riding. The Special Olympics World Games will take place in Berlin until Sunday, June 25th. In the coming days there will be further decisions in which the 62 Austrians still have a chance of winning a medal.
