The players from Bundesliga relegated SV Guntamatic Ried completed the performance tests on Wednesday in midsummer temperatures. As previously reported, Julian Wießmeier and Josef Weberbauer were no longer there. Striker Christoph Monschein was also absent. He no longer plays a role in coach Maximilian Senft’s plans. It is not yet clear which club the 30-year-old will join. What is certain is that SV Ried will not put any obstacles in the way of the attacking player.

Felix Seiwald, who was last awarded to the (current) league competitor Vienna, was also present at the performance tests.

Transfer from David Bumberger probably only a matter of form

For David Bumberger, who was born in Rohrbach and played for Verwarts Steyr last season, the path is very likely to lead to the Innviertel. According to OÖN information, the defender, who has already played for Altach in the Bundesliga, and SV Ried should be as good as in agreement. Official confirmation is expected in the coming days. The 24-year-old left foot is supposed to strengthen Rieder’s defense as a central defender.
