The two half-brothers from Afghanistan got into an argument around 8:30 p.m. According to the current status of the investigation, the two may have injured each other with a knife. The 23-year-old suffered a stab wound in the neck, the older one sustained injuries to the face.

The 24-year-old fled, covered in blood, and ran to the market square, where visitors to an outdoor dining area came to his aid. His half-brother ran after him and behaved extremely aggressively towards his brother and the helpers. Police officers who were summoned arrested the 23-year-old, and the 24-year-old was taken to the hospital in Rohrbach by an emergency doctor after first aid.
Fled from the hospital
However, after receiving outpatient treatment in the hospital, the man fled and was arrested by a police patrol shortly afterwards. When questioned, the two refused to testify. They only told the officers that they had been attacked by an unknown third party. However, a search of the home did not reveal any evidence of another person involved. The investigation is ongoing.
