Since 2020, former World Cup driver Joachim Puchner, who had to end his career three years earlier after serious injuries, has been falling down the race slopes with the ORF helmet camera. In downhill races, Super-Gs and giant slaloms in the Ski World Cup, the former speed specialist from St. Johann im Pongau is the first to start to give TV viewers an impression of the slopes.
The 35-year-old from Salzburg now revealed private news on Instagram: He and his partner got married. “You are the most wonderful person on earth and you made this day the happiest day of my life,” wrote the Pongauer to a video showing the highlights of the wedding celebrations. You can see the couple at the civil wedding, leaving the church (where a kiss was a must, of course) and at the evening celebration. The wedding took place on June 10th. “From now on forever,” wrote the ex-ski racer.
