The fire broke out around 9 p.m. “Fire agricultural property” was the alarm. The column of smoke could be seen from afar. As the OÖN learned from the state fire brigade command, a hay barn burned down. Since the barn is right next to the farmhouse, it was important to prevent the fire from spreading.

The number of alarmed fire brigades was therefore increased from eleven to 15, and the third alarm level was declared. Ladders were used to extinguish the fire from above. In addition, several water pipes had to be laid.
The Stadl fell victim to the flames. “It burned down to the foundations,” it said around 10 p.m. According to initial information, no one was in danger. Although the number of emergency services was reduced to Monday during the night, numerous fire departments were still on duty in the morning hours.
A week earlier, on the evening of June 25, a major fire had broken out on another farm in the Vöcklabruck district. The haystack had also burned in Frankenmarkt, eleven fire brigades were deployed.
