The fire broke out around 9 p.m. “Fire agricultural property” was the alarm. The column of smoke could be seen from afar. As the OÖN learned from the state fire brigade command, a hay barn burned down. Since the barn is right next to the farmhouse, it was important to prevent the fire from spreading.

The number of alarmed fire brigades was therefore increased from eleven to 15, and the third alarm level was declared. Ladders were used to extinguish the fire from above. In addition, several water pipes had to be laid.

A week earlier, on the evening of June 25, a major fire had broken out on another farm in the Vöcklabruck district. The haystack had also burned in Frankenmarkt, eleven fire brigades were deployed.
