The first holiday weekend in Schärding is all about the popular gourmet festival. From Friday, July 7th, up to and including Sunday, July 9th, the old town will be transformed into a culinary paradise. It starts at 5 p.m. each day.
For the 16th time, culinary specialties from all over the world can be tasted during these three days in the baroque city. At the more than 60 catering stands of Schärdinger Aktiwirte and their partners, grilling, cooking, roasting and smoking will take place.
As in previous years, the organizers are expecting thousands of visitors. A colorful supporting program with live music on several stages in the baroque city is also offered for pleasure lovers. Of course, a wide range of drinks including cocktails is also served.
Admission is five euros on Friday and Sunday and seven euros on Saturday. There is also a three-day ticket for ten euros. No admission for children under 14 years. More information on the Internet at www.aktiwirte.at
