At least the contract with the Austrian Health Insurance Fund (ÖGK) was terminated on June 30th. The reason is increased financial requirements, which would have led to losses under the existing conditions for 2024.
The emergency service center is open daily from 8 p.m. to midnight, on weekends and public holidays pain patients are also looked after between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. In a statement, the ÖGK was “ready to negotiate”. Discussions for a joint solution in the interests of the patients have already been started.
