The company has now announced this. “From July, we will become a company with a modern, even more customer-oriented structure. The new GmbHs can concentrate entirely on their core business, customers and markets. Wintersteiger Operations GmbH, in turn, will focus on the development and manufacture of new products.” , says Florestan von Boxberg, CEO of Wintersteiger.
The company with around 1200 employees and 30 sales and service branches currently supplies around 130 countries worldwide. The internationally positioned machine and plant assembly group was founded in 1953. With the restructuring, the company split into smaller units, but at the same time became a larger company, according to Wintersteiger. “With the new company structure, we are preparing for the future. The divisions and operations will become separate companies and join Kohler Maschinenbau GmbH as independent companies in the group,” CFO Harald Kostka is quoted as saying in a press release.
New address
Wintersteiger is particularly proud of the new company address. Johann-Michael-Dimmel-Strasse 9 is renamed Wintersteigerstrasse 1. The new street sign was handed over to the Wintersteiger managing directors at the 70th anniversary of the Rieder company by Governor Thomas Stelzer (ÖVP) and Ried’s ÖVP mayor Bernhard Zwielehner.
