The Vöcklabruck young author and special education teacher Elisabeth Alexandra Pichlmann surprised the teams of the children’s ward and the sanatorium classes at the Salzkammergut-Klinikum Vöcklabruck with a special gift. She made more than 50 copies of her debut children’s book “Monja and the Valley of the Gray Clouds” available to the young patients free of charge.

Elisabeth Alexandra Pichlmann recently published the first volume of her book series “Ella Dschinn”. The book is suitable for all children between the ages of four and eleven and appeals above all to those who are particularly sensitive and lack self-confidence. The first volume, entitled “Monja and the Valley of the Gray Clouds”, deals with how many worries children often have to endure and where their strength and belief in themselves lie hidden.

Pichlmann was inspired to write by her four-year-old son Jannis, who was born with a malformation of the spine and spinal cord and had to do a lot at a young age and did so. With her book, Elisabeth Alexandra Pichlmann also makes an appeal to adults: “All children, especially those who don’t find everything so easy, should be allowed to be as they are. For some, it takes special courage and an understanding of the Older ones too,” says the author.
