The president of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelenskyparticipated in a videoconference with students from the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires ( UBA) centered on the prestige of the house of studies worldwide and the current situation of the European country after the war with Russia.
The students received information in the first person about the Russian invasion on the Ukrainian territory and after the veto of the proposal made by the President of Spain Pedro Sánchez, who proposed that Ukraine be part of the meeting between the CELAC member states and the European Union (EU).
Regarding the attempts of the intermediaries for an attempt at peace between the countries at war, Zelenski was blunt and already He assured that he will not accept dialogue until Russia leaves Ukraine.

When asked what could accelerate peace in Ukraine, the president replied: “We did not want this war. We have to put pressure on all countries to seek unity, including the countries of Latin America. The hand of the leader of Russia is a hand covered with blood, because he was the one who gave the criminal orders.”
“How important do you consider the help of Latin American countries and what do you expect from them?” asked another of the students who was also interested in the cooperation between Argentina and Ukraine.
“How can you help? By joining the sanctions, support international sanctions It is very important because the countries of the European continent supported them. Russia’s leaders must feel lonely, they cannot do business with African countries or with Latin America. If they have those links they can continue to do what they do. Latin American countries may have a more decisive position.”
Along the same lines, Zelenski referred to the diplomatic link between Ukraine and Argentina: “We need closer relations between our countries. I do not see such close relations between Argentina and Ukraine. I would like that we had more communications between our governments and peoples”.
