During a routine check on Thursday morning, police officers noticed the special behavior of a 31-year-old Tyrolean. However, the driver immediately agreed to a voluntary urine test. This was also negative.
However, since there were still several signs that the driver was drugged and the urine provided also raised doubts, the officers confronted the man with the suspicion that he had used fake urine – which he finally admitted after initial denials. Instead of his own, the drug dealer had given synthetic urine.
Another – this time real – urine test finally confirmed the suspicions of the officials: Both THC (the main active ingredient in the cannabis plant) and cocaine were detected. A clinical examination determined that the man was unfit to drive.
The Tyrolean has lost his driver’s license for the time being, and he is also being reported for falsifying evidence and driving in a drug-impaired state.
