The ÖBB trains via the “Deutsche Eck” are also affected, the company announced on Monday. For example, a rail replacement service (SEV) with buses would be set up for several trains between Salzburg main station and Innsbruck or Bregenz in the section between the city of Mozart and Wörgl.

According to ÖBB, there are no stops between Salzburg and Munich for some long-distance connections. In addition, train RJX 669 (from Innsbruck main station at 5:10 a.m.) will be diverted to Vienna Airport via Zell am See, which means that the journey time will be extended by around 90 minutes, according to the railway. For travelers from Kufstein, a rail replacement service will be set up between Kufstein and Salzburg.

ÖBB asked customers to find out about possible changes in good time in advance. Information on the restrictions would also be provided on the Deutsche Bahn website.
