According to the State Police Directorate, the suspects are a 51-year-old and a 42-year-old, both British-Iranian dual citizens, and a 34-year-old Iranian national. The opium was about to be shipped to Germany by train when the handcuffs clicked on June 2nd. Two of the accused confessed when they were questioned, the third refused to testify.
The trio was taken to the Korneuburg prison. The Lower Austria State Criminal Police Office and the Schwechat City Police Command had been investigating for months.
