Change in the Church and its Impact on Society

The churches have lost the position in society they have been used to for centuries, and the Christian churches are faced with existential questions and challenges in modern, secular Europe. For a large number of people, religion has little meaning in everyday life. The moral claims of the churches are also fundamentally questioned. The effects of these changes on our society is the question addressed by the “Ecumenical Summer Academy” in Kremsmünster Abbey from today until June 14, entitled “Salt of the Earth”.
